Cowboy Dressage welcomes the Morgan
Gelding "Indigo Go
Gold" (Nashboro Dakota Gold
X Amquest Enchantress) to Wolf Creek
Ranch.
Debbie Beth-Halachmy fell in love with
Indy the first time she laid eyes on
him. "He was my dream horse." At that
time he was owned by Jennifer Monroe of
MEMC Morgans in Melissa, TX. Debbie
always knew that some how Indy would
become a big part of her life. She and
Jennifer developed a friendship via
email. They met at OKC one year and
officially became friends. Their
conversations were usually about "color"
and how much they both liked it. Indy
was never far from Debbie's thoughts. He
was not for sale but Debbie did not stop
dreaming she would have him some day.
Fast forward a few years. Eitan was
getting busier and busier on the clinic
and expo circuit. There was a growing
demand for him more and more. He was
finding himself with requests world wide
to teach his horsemanship. He and Debbie
had been planning on slowing down in the
show horse part of the industry and
training and promoting more of their own
horses. With the demand to travel more,
Eitan started looking for an additional
clinic and entertainment horse to help
share the work load. Holiday Compadre,
Galahad's Golden Warrior and his current
horse Santa Fe Renegade had left some
big shoes to fill. This horse could not
be anything less than the great horses
before him, he had to be even better.
This particular horse had to have many
qualities...he was not going to be easy
to find...maybe impossible. Not only did
he have to be beautiful and charismatic,
he had to be very athletic, big hearted
and hold up well under pressure. On top
of that he had to appeal to the open
market of the horse industry. He had to
have the "looks" that any horseman would
love and the talent/movement of the
Baroque Horse that Eitan so highly
prizes. He had to have "color" too!
Eitan has a reputation for "Exotic"
horses, well trained and in
self-carriage...this new horse would
have to measure up and beyond. Eitan had
been looking actively for his new horse
but had not found just the right
individual.
Then one day the phone rang and "fate"
was on the other end of the
line....Jennifer was on the phone and
Indy was finally up for sale! Debbie
told Eitan she had found his horse for
him. In three weeks Indy was in CA. at
Wolf Creek Ranch. Not only did Eitan buy
Indy but Debbie bought a beautiful
yearling palomino (of course) filly by
Jennifer's good stallion MEMC Tequila
Cuervo. Her name is "NEON" and with 4
white socks you can see why. She
is big and beautiful and filled with
promise.
Indy and Eitan have similar
personalities so they make for a very
entertaining pair . He is all and maybe
more than we had hoped to find. To say
the least, "they are well matched." Will
Eitan show Indy....he is not saying one
way or the other but you can bet he will
ride him and teach all over the world
with this horse as he does have what it
takes....he has it all!
Thank you
Jennifer so very much...you made my
dreams come true.
Indy is a 2000
Morgan Palomino Gelding with 4 white
socks and strip.
He is 15.1 hands.

We have been long time admires
of color in the Morgan Breed. It has been a
tedious search for just the right mares and we
think we have found them in Homestead Little Bit
of Heaven, Lighthouse Bonnie, and MEMC Neon. These mares show promise as
outstanding show horses and once proven in
athletic ability and trainability they will
become part of a "colorful broodmare band." We
are excited and thrilled to be venturing into
yet another part of the Morgan Industry.
